Marcia Griffiths

Reggae's legendary first lady, her unique voice has been making hits for over 30 years now. Marcia's career started at Studio One where she met Bob Andy with whom she formed the duo Bob & Marcia while also keeping a solid solo career with many hit songs for Clement Dodd: "Feel like Jumping", "Tell me now" or "Melody life". She was part of Bob Marley's I Threes alongside Rita Marley and Judy Mowatt, harmonizing most of the hit songs of BMW while also collaborating with female producer Sonia Pottinger or foreign artists like Serge Gainsbourg. In the 90's Marcia kept on releasing very strong material for Donovan Germain and she is still kicking in the new millennium with hits for the same Penthouse or Harmony House labels... Marcia truly forever!
