Stranger 'Jah' Cole

Original Treasure Isle recording artist and one of Duke Reid's big rocksteady hitmakers, under the name of Stranger & Ken (Boothe) he recorded several 45 for Coxsone Studio One including the original "Artibella". In 1961 he recorded "Ruff&Tuff", N°1 in JA, many of his songs - "Nothing Tried", "Mr Bangagarang" - have become Jamaican standarts... Stranger recently issued some new 45 and has integrated the Jamaica All Stars to tour Europe.
